Women’s Guild

Meetings are held at 6:30 pm in St. Mary’s Hall on the first Monday of the month from September to May, unless otherwise noted. Dues are $10 a year. We try to have a speaker or a program at each meeting. We begin our year in September with a Mass and a social. In our November meeting we put together No-sew blankets for the East Hartford Shelter. Our December meeting is our annual Christmas Party with a Pot-luck supper. At this meeting we will collect items needed for the East Hartford Shelter. Meetings are not held in January and February due to the weather. We end the year with a Banquet held in May. All the women from the parish are welcome to join the club at any time during the year.

Bake Sales
We hold two bake sales every year: on Palm Sunday and the weekend before Thanksgiving.

Communion Breakfast
Our Communion Breakfast is held in St. Mary’s Hall. This year’s date is to be determined.

Collections
We collect calendars and greeting cards for Riverside Health & Rehab Center, and children’s books and workbooks for the Early Childhood Learning Center. This year we started a collection of toiletries for Silver Lane School.
